Make a Difference

Strengthen your FDV response and improve outcomes for the people you support.

Behind every silence is a story waiting to be heard, your response can change its ending. Equip your frontline workers to recognise, respond to, and support those who need it most.

About the Training

Our comprehensive suite of frontline FDV courses build professional capacity across multiple areas, equipping services and staff with the skills to respond effectively to family and domestic violence while reinforcing perpetrator accountability. Designed for a wide range of sectors, the courses recognise that even non-specialist services play a vital role in identifying, responding to, and managing FDV-related risk.

Grounded in best practice, the training covers multiple topics including recognising early signs of violence, screening, risk assessment and management, safety planning (including CRARMF), trauma-informed and culturally safe responses, and navigating referral pathways. It also empowers professionals to support victim-survivor strengths and resistance while fostering stronger collaboration between services for coordinated, consistent, and effective outcomes.

FDV Response offers specialist training to professionals directly responding to the complex realities of family and domestic violence. This practical education series is designed to strengthen skills using evidence-based tools, frameworks, and approaches that support safer, survivor-centred responses.

Across two parts, participants will build confidence in recognising risk, applying assessment tools with care, and developing tailored safety plans that support resilience and wellbeing.
