National DFSV Recovery & Healing Conference 2026

Zonta House is proud to announce that our Operations Manager, Anna Scott, has been invited to speak at the Second National Domestic, Family and Sexual Violence Recovery and Healing: Striving Together Conference, to be held from 30 April – 1 May 2026 in Brisbane.

Hosted by the Australian Domestic, Family and Sexual Violence Recovery Alliance, the conference brings together national leaders, sector experts, lived experience advocates, and practitioners committed to advancing recovery, healing, justice, safety and equality for women, children and young people experiencing domestic, family and sexual violence.

Anna will present her insights as part of the Housing and Economic Recovery discussions, delivering a presentation,
“Empowering Recovery: Linking Housing, Employment, and Community Awareness”.

Her contribution highlights the critical connection between safety, secure housing, financial independence, and long‑term recovery, reflecting Zonta House’s commitment to survivor‑led, trauma‑informed practice.

This year’s program includes keynote speakers such as the National DFSV Commissioner, leaders in health and justice, and advocates with lived experience, along with panel discussions on key themes such as holistic healing models, accessible pathways to justice, and centering children and young people.
