Zonta House Women’s Refuge provides accommodation for women over the age of 18 years (without their children), who are experiencing family and domestic violence/homelessness and crisis in their lives.
The crisis center is a 24 hour, 7 days a week service and has supported more than 10,000 women over 34 years. Accommodation includes short, medium and long term housing for women over the age of 18 that have experienced and/or are at risk of Family and Domestic Violence (FDV).
Zonta House is one of the largest women’s refuges in Perth and is one of three refuges providing accommodation for women without their children.
The Department for Child Protection and Family Services currently provide funding for 22 beds (in 3 houses). Another 28 beds (16 units/houses) are managed by Zonta House Women’s Refuge within the Crisis Accommodation Program (CAP) and Community Housing Program (CHP) through the Department of Housing.
